Founded in early 2018, by four entrepreneurs with a passion for community and local craft beer.

With two engineers on the founding team, our beer is truly, Good Beer. Engineered.

DREW MICHAELS - SALES/BREWING 

Drew does a little bit of everything around DBC, but most importantly he brews the beer! Drew Michaels is a Dalton native and graduate of Kennesaw State University. He is an experienced salesman and has a passion for the local community. He lives in Dalton with his wife and daughter.

DEANNA MATHIS - OPERATIONS 

Need a label maker? This girl has one! She spends her time keeping us all organized and operating efficiently. One of two engineers on our team, Deanna has an Industrial Engineering degree from Georgia Tech and an MBA from Kennesaw State. Deanna is passionate about our local community and helping to develop Downtown Dalton into a vibrant and thriving city center. She lives in Dalton with her husband and three pups (including Champ the Brewdog).

CHRIS BROWN - FINANCE 

Chris is the chief paper pusher around these parts. He makes sure we stay well within the law (most of the time). Chris moved from Denver, Colorado to Dalton and dreamed of creating a similar brewery culture in his new home. Chris graduated from Sewanee: The University of the South, and then went on to complete law school at University of Denver’s Sturm College of Law. He lives in Dalton with his wife and three children.

GREY DZIUBA - TECHNOLOGY

All technology all the time! Grey is a whiz at anything digital. He also helps design our experimental beers. One of two engineers on the team, Grey has an electrical engineering degree from Christian Brothers University in Memphis, TN. He lives in Tunnel Hill with is wife and daughter.
